MY FATHER'S SHADOW IN THE FINANCIAL TIMES

Directed by Akinola Davies Jr. and co-written with his brother Wale Davies, the film follows two brothers through a single day in Lagos during the 1993 election crisis. It became the first Nigerian feature to compete at Cannes, and Davies Jr. won Best Director at the British Independent Film Awards, alongside a Special Mention for the Caméra d'Or. FOLA secured placements for the film, including the Financial Times.
