HOMECOMING FESTIVAL, LAGOS, NIGERIA

At the ninth edition of Homecoming, founder Grace Ladoja MBE became the first Nigerian woman to design a Nike shoe: a special-edition Air Max Plus in two colourways, Pan-African and the orange African Sunrise, a tribute to the Lagos sunrise. The shoe launched exclusively in Lagos during the festival, followed by a global release via Nike on 23 April. FOLA led the global press campaign behind the launch.
